Help and first steps

The shortest path from signing up to your first campaign.

  1. 1

    1. Set up the sender

Under Settings → Senders, give the name and address the recipient will see plus the postal address for the footer. A postal address is required for marketing mail — without it we will not let you send a campaign. Running several companies? Add several senders and pick which one a campaign goes out as.

  2. 2

    2. Authenticate your domain

Add SPF, DKIM and DMARC records in the DNS of the domain you send from. They decide whether the recipient's mail server treats the message as yours. The panel shows the full set of records for each sender — every domain has its own.

  3. 3

    3. Collect contacts

Create a list, then a signup form or a CSV import. A sample file is available in the Contacts section — only the email column is required, the rest become custom fields.

  4. 4

    4. Send a campaign

Build the content from blocks, send a test to yourself, pick the recipient lists and start the send. Sending runs through a queue, so you can close the browser.

  5. 5

    5. Turn on your first flow

The simplest and most profitable one: a welcome after a list signup. Trigger "List signup", step "Send message", optionally "Wait 3 days" and a second message.
